The National Federation Of Independent Businesses Endorses Tran and the National Tax Limitation Committee Honors Tran With The “Tax Fighter” Award.
This week, Van Tran is proud to receive support from both taxpayer and small business groups. The National Federation of Independent Businesses endorsed Tran in his bid to unseat anti-business Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez. Tran was also honored by the National Tax Limitation Committee with the “Tax Fighter” Award for his career fighting higher taxes and fees.
“I’m honored to add the NFIB and the National Tax Limitation Committee endorsements to the growing list of supporters in our effort to unseat overspending Loretta Sanchez,” said Tran.
“As your Congressman, I will fight to help small business and to cut taxes by voting to return the unused stimulus funds to the American people and to de-fund those 15,000 IRS agents that are tasked with taking over the healthcare industry. We can also make the 2003 tax cuts permanent so employers can have some certainty about the future and so that they can get back to doing what they do best – creating jobs.”
The National Tax Limitation Committee (NTLC) has been at work since 1975 and is one of the longest standing pro-taxpayer/entrepreneur organizations in America.
NTLC has scored Congress on taxpayer issues for 25 years and has the longest standing congressional scorecard of any conservative taxpayer organization in America. According to the National Tax Limitation Committee 2010 scorecard on taxpayer issues, Loretta Sanchez only sides with taxpayers 4 out of 100 times.
The National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) has consistently awarded Assemblyman Tran a 100% on his voting record to support small businesses since his election in 2004. NFIB evaluates specific bills and Legislator’s position on those bills that have a significant impact on small businesses in California.
Assemblyman Tran has consistently fought for small businesses and reduced regulations since his election to the Legislature.
